FISHING
Carl can accomodate up to SIX (6) anglers on the Mocko Jumbie. Charter price is based on a full day or half day charter and NOT by person. Yes- it is possible to keep SOME of your catch for dinner that night! Just ask the captain to cut you a few fillets.

WHAT YOU GET when Capt. Carl takes you out fishing: all the gear and tackle you will need- including rods, reels, bait (live and artificial), a full safety briefing, use of life jackets, rain coats or windbreakers if needed. Bottled water, sodas and snacks are included. You can also bring your own food and beverages.

Split Charters
We get a lot of requests for "split charters". Some people like to do this to help defer the costs. Carl tries his hardest to put parties together, but he recommends that you talk with other guests at your resort/hotel/bar/restaurant/beach to see if you meet anyone also interested in splitting a charter. Just by talking to the person, you will know if you want to be on a boat for 6+ hours fishing with them. Private charters and complete parties have first priority.

PROS of splitting a charter:
to help defer the cost. You make new friends.
CONS of splitting a charter:
the other party gets sick and you have to come back in and still pay full price; the other party gets to reel in a fish and you don't; the other party smokes like a chimney and you don't......Please take this into serious consideration if you want to split a charter.
There are no "head boats" or "walk-on" boats on St. Croix.

The Mocko Jumbie is available to be your boat, and your boat only for the entire time of your stay. Call Carl to discuss prices. If an eight hour day on the water isn't enough, ask Carl about longer trips.
